Christmas Eve Dinner
I was in the mood for comfort food:
- devilled eggs
- mulled wine
- cheese soldiers
- cream of broccoli soup
- julienne mushrooms
- mashed potato
- steamed asparagus
- turkey
December 21: Birthday Dinner @ Red Lobster
I took out my new Panasonic GX7 camera for a test at low light and those photos make me salivate even now.
December 29: Baby, it's cold outside!
I beat my previous day's record and stayed outside for 15 minutes. It was -19C, and a full blizzard. My iPhone switched off when I tried to take a video. I walked to Parliament, realized that I won't be able to see anything even if I get to the port, so I went back.

It's all about food
I admit. I have a problem. I love taking pictures of food. I always do. I don't always share them, but those that I do, always end up on Instagram. Today I was approached on Instagram by The National Post, asking me if they could feature my food photos on Gastropost. It is a bizarre thought that someone might like my photos so much that they would like to feature them somewhere. Oh well! I did say yes - will see if anyone emails me back.
